The Southside Homeschoolers group was formed to provide positive support and encouragement for Louisiana homeschooling families living on the southside of Acadiana limited to Broussard, Youngsville, New Iberia.
We hope to offer a support community, resource sharing, friendships, play dates, teen social outings and fieldtrips.
We are an active, inclusive, secular group dedicated to creating an environment in which parents and children from all walks of life will find a warm and welcoming community. All that we ask in return is for our members to actively participate in group events. Our members communicate online, but we are not an online group. For the concern of everyone involved if a member is not active after 90 days they will be removed from our group. We understand that people are busy and things come up and therefore invite you to rejoin our group when you are able to be more active.
