The SPC list is an attempt to connect the various experiences of
struggle by revolutionaries throughout the South Pacific and facilitate joint projects, thrash over ideas and get to know each other. After a series of bad experience on other email lists we feel some pretty strident points of agreement are required.

These are:

1) We oppose the totality of capitalist society, i.e. commodities, patriarchy, heterosexism, work, states etc. We are not just about “redistributing wealth” for example.

2) We oppose all states, and all statists especially so called revolutionary ones (so no Fidel you can’t join our list.

3) We oppose any mediation of our struggles. This leads us to reject the leftist parties and trade unions as rackets that try to manage rebellion.

After your name appears in the pending members section of this list you will be contacted by a moderator and asked to send them a short description of your politics so that the group can vote on whether or not to admit you.
