Southland Home Educators serves the greater Kansas City Area. We accept new members at any time. We offer support to new and veteran homeschooling families.

There is a "Homeschooling 101" meeting 30 minutes prior to any group meeting to help new families get involved in the child(ren)'s education. We use this time to answer questions and give the support and offer encouragement to help families during a time that could be overwhelming. Not to worry, we are here to help.

Each monthly meeting has a special topic and general discussion about fieldtrips, community service, parties, fundraising, weekly "play dates" and opportunities for travel to Orlando, St. Louis, Washington DC.

All styles of education are welcome.

A $20/year membership is due every August.

We meet the 2nd Monday of every month.
