This is a members-only discussion group, sponsored by the Metis Nation of the South (MNS), which provides a venue for members of the MNS and other Metis to discuss general topics of mutual interest to the Metis (Native American "mixed bloods") and First Nations Peoples community-at-large, regardless of where they live.

Postings regarding the discussions or proceedings of the MNS are deemed confidential information and are available solely to enrolled Citizens of the MNS. Any Citizen who posts messages from the official MNS discussion group to this list shall be provided with one warning, any subsequent posting shall result in that Citizen being banned from the SouthernMetis list without further notice.
