Had the same problem. I attacked it three ways. First heated the screw heads. Then as the heads cooled I flooded the area with penetrating oil. Did this for

... for ... hold ... oil, ... they ... magnet ... turn ... what ... I ... You got one more thing to try. Try welding oversize nuts on top of the screws . The

Mine (1924 Model 405) are 3/8-16. (But the 405 is weird so be sure to check) 1” under the head. ¼” of the 1” body unthreaded. 9/16 round head, ¼”
