Welcome to the South Austin Attached Parents list. This is a friendship, advice, sharing and support group for parents in South Austin who practice one or more of the fundamentals of Attachment Parenting (AP):

1. Prepare for Pregnancy, Birth, and Parenting
2. Feed with Love and Respect (breastfeeding when possible, following feeding cues)
3. Respond with Sensitivity
4. Use Nurturing Touch, including carrying or babywearing
5. Engage in Nighttime Parenting
6. Provide Consistent and Loving Care
7. Practice Positive Discipline
8. Strive for Balance in Personal and Family Life

Join us to share and receive parenting advice and stories; coordinate South Austin playgroups, meetings, and events, and to continue the many great discussion started at our monthly South Austin chapter Attachment Parenting International (API) meetings.
