The aim of the SouthAsia-Coins group is to promote an understanding of coins, ancient to present, from India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Burma, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Tibet, and the Maldives.
Experts as well as beginners, from around the world, are invited to join the group, and -
(i) Discuss issues related to collecting South Asian coins
(ii) Post articles, anecdotes regarding various coins and coin series
(iii) Post coin images to verify authenticity, attribution
(iv) Share information about relevant upcoming shows/events
(v) Review various reference books, journal articles
