Hi, I fond your group doing a search for charity knitting. I am very much a
beginning knitter. I can do some squares, and was wondering if you have
guidelines as to size, type of yarn, needles and stich patterns desired. I would
also like to know how to send them to you and if you have any idea of postage
costs from New Jersey.
Thanks so very much for your help.

Hello one and all. I am Roxanne one of the founders of this group. The response
we received for our soldiers was remarkable. As much as we would like to
continue this project our cousin has moved and he was the person that could
deliver them for us since he was retired from the Defense dept.
After some thought I have come up with a new project that also will service
veterns. I am thinking we should perhaps begin making laprobes, afghans, and
wheelchair caddies and donate them to the retirement homes for veterns.Let me
know what you think.
Also, my Sister is no longer a part of this so all mailings would have to come
to me.

Hello group, my name is Michelle, I'm a mother of two girls and we three love to
crochet. I learned to crochet at the age of four because I wanted to do
whatever my Grama was doing :)

I inheretted yarn from both of my Grandmothers and it is a little overwhelming,
a lot of it isn't enough to do large projects, just scraps, so I thought I would
try to find an organization that I could use the yarn, help someone AND get to
do what I love...crochet :)

God bless your efforts!

Hello.

Im new just signed up last night. I have a deep love for crochet, been doing it
since i was thirteen thanks to my mom and her patience to teach me very simple
stitches...since then i've learned that i have a great love for in the round
patterns and granny squares. I make them constantly. I have a suitcase full of
scrap squares that i made that are just sitting there. most of them are 6x6 lol.
i have so much yarn that i decided that i needed to maybe find something to do
with it being that i crochet for relaxation and personal enjoyment. I have a 5
year old daughter that gets lotsa purses and blankets but the excitement of
mommies hobby is wearing off. so now to find something, a friend said "hey, why
not donate them to charity groups?" so I started digging and low and behold.

Im a strong supporter of our troops. I live in the area of Fort hood and i am
surrounded by ACU's lol. My father also spent time in the army, so army life is
the way of life for me. I hate that our boys are dying and getting wounded for
our freedom, and i am really happy to have found a great cause for them.

My name is Lori, i'm 25...and eager to get started. :D I got my purple box of
love sitting here waiting, so enough typing and let me go get started.

Thanks for letting me join the cause. I would rather spend time with my hobby
and share it with people who need them. A crocheted knited quilted blanket is a
hug of love from far away sometimes you need that hug to.

Thank you again. Feel free to email me if you wanna chatter it up.

Lori

Re: NAME YOUR OWN PRICE FOR GROCERIES!

Yes Mary I chose to sign up for the sampler at http://discounts4food.com since
it includes all of the companies products. To answer your question, I have found
the restauant discount program to be just as amazing as the grocery discount
program. Bill and I have used it many times at all different restaurants and we
have saved a fortune with it. Most of the times we eat out at a 50% discount.

After I recently discovered and recommended the sampler program at http://discounts4food.com I have received hundreds and hundreds of emails from so many people. Dozens of people sharing with me their great savings experiences using this program some of them for the past 30 years! Others thanking me for sharing the information and a few people reprimanding me for posting an off topic piece. But one email I received I must share with you. In order to protect this individual I have agreed not to use his name. He is a retired Vice President of a major ( 150 + stores ) supermarket throughout the Southern USA. He told me he was well aware of this program and it was often discussed at their meetings and even conventions. He went on to say that many industry experts often marvelled at what a creative program this was. He told me that of the hundreds of supermarket executives he knew through the years every single one of them used this program for their own savings.

I tried your link several times with no success. The website seems to be shut
down.

Many of you have asked me if I tried the products that I recently recommended so highly from the company at http://discounts4food.com I'm very sorry if I failed to make myself clear, I signed up for the sampler kit many years ago and the savings on groceries and dining out have been nothing short of spectacular! The savings on name brand merchandise in their wholesale online mall is very amazing too! I would never recommend anything that I haven't tried and loved!

I just received a forwarded email from our Group Owner Virginia Sikes. She received the following email from a friend of hers and asked me to share it with you. She also asked me to wish all of our Christian members a Happy Easter!

[Forwarded from Virginia Sikes Blackberry]

Virginia,

Several weeks ago a woman recommended very highly the programs at http://grocerypriceslash.com  I was looking into it and just last week after getting so fed up with the soaring food prices I signed up for their sampler program. What a relief it has been. I saved $ 97.74 at the supermarket the very first time I used this amazing program. That worked out to 89% off my entire grocery bill. I really have to say Thank You!!! to the woman that shared this huge tip with us!

A couple of weeks ago I was complaining to my neighbor about the skyrocketing
food prices. She gave me what has turned out to be a huge tip. She told me about
the program at http://savingmorethanbefore.com She then went in her home and
brought out a handful of receipts showing huge savings 80% and above I remember.
I joined the program and the first time I used it I saved 76% on my entire
grocery bill. I have told all my relatives and friends about this amazing
program. I want to share it with others now. My mom always taught us to repay
favors by doing favors for others. Times are very tough right now.

Kim,

I just recently told my group members about http://savingmorethanbefore.com I can't believe you have been a member of this same program since 1978 and you never told me about it. I could kill you for that. It's like filling up the grocery cart week after week for pennies on the dollar! Say hello to Jim and please hug the kids for me. We will have to get together soon!

OFFICAL ANNOUNCEMENT - Account Hijacking

I recently had my account hijacked and the person was sending out a bunch of fake endorsements for products as if I was endorsing them. I want everyone to know that I did not endorse the "make money while you sleep program" or any sexual program of any kind. The only program that I did endorse was the grocery savings program at http://discounts4food.com We were able to identify the individual that did the account hijacking and they won't be able to do much of anything for the next 3 to 5 years.

Members, Yesterday I sent you an advisory on my account being hijacked. In that email I included the link to the only program that I officially endorsed. many of you contacted me telling me the link did not work and others asked how I know of this program. I may have given you the wrong link. Here is the coorect link of the program that I endorsed: http://savingmorethanbefore.com I joined this program in 1992 and ever since I have been saving enormous amounts of money on groceries and dining out. I would only endorse a program that I have been a part of and one the has proven to me over time that it is a gem. Again, I have not endorsed any other program other than this one

Last night I had a very good friend over for dinner. She is also a group moderator. Having read my recent recommendation of the programs at http://savingmorethanbefore.com She brought with her a small suitcase full of receipts. She told me that she was the first person that ever joined this program and then showed me a store receipt dated Oct. 21, 1977 showing a savings of 82%. My research into this program revealed that this company went into business Oct. 19, 1977. Making me believe that she was indeed the first person that signed up for it. There were thouands of receipts. I randomly looked at a few dozen all showing minimum savings of 70%. Of course it didn't surprise me since I am part of this same program.

After having read so many different people who are sharing their praise and
stories about the program being offered at http://savingmorethanbefore.com and
decided to share my very own experience with this progam. Back in 1999 I was
bringing my oldest son Andy to Gymboree. One day when we arrived there was a
large group of moms gathered around a shoebox on top of a table. I still
remember hearing words like WOW and Oh my God. I went right over to see what was
going on. One of the moms had a shoebox full of grocery store and department
store receipts. The receipts were all showing huge savings. I still remember
there was another mom there with her laptop. We all took turns signing up for
the sampler that very morning. Through the years this program has been far more
than I could have ever hoped for. The savings on just about everything continue
to be incredible!
