Hello and Welcome to " 2 Sister's for Soldiers" an internet based group to give our wounded soldiers that are in Walter Reed Medical Center our support.
We welcome Fiber Artists of all types.We will be collecting crocheted or knitted squares as well as completed items to be delivered to our wounded soldiers at Walter Reed in Washington DC.Completed items can be lapghans,afghans,prayer shawls or healing shawls,as well as other items that may bring a smile to a wounded soldiers face.
At this time I am in contact with the hospital and will post any other items they feel would be needed or appreciated as soon as I hear back from them.
Please encourage your friends, guilds,church groups,etc... to get involved with us in this very worthy cause.
