My Blog tour " continues today on Candid Canine. Read "first graphs" of "The Magician's Castle," make a comment and win a chance for a free dowload of "Christmas With Daisy," a Cynthia's Attic short story.
Congratulations, Marian! Good to have you on board. I'll look forward to hearing more about your books.
Not doing a booksigning in the area for awhile, but will keep everyone posted. I've been doing a blog tour, though, so if anyone wants to check it out they can go to: http://www.cynthiasattic.blogspot.com and click on all the blogs that are on my "tour." Pretty easy way to travel around the internet and not have to pay travel expenses!
Hi, Mary! I'm in the process of joining you as an Echelon Press author,
although mine will be eBooks only. Be sure to post here when your next
signing is and where. We have members from all over.
Good to "see" you here!

I'm so excited. I just got a book trailer for Firebrand and
wanted to share that link. But also, some time ago I filmed an
interview about creating my characters and how I came to write what I
do. The first two portions of that are done now and you can view them
and the trailer through this link to YouTube! Very cool that both came
out at the same time!
Hi Mary! Good to hear from you again and welcome to the list. I think
Marian is still only able to log on sporadically. First she fell and
sprained her ankle (again--same one, too) and then her Mom had an
attack of appendicitis and had to have surgery. We're not sure *just*
who she ticked off, but I'm suggesting fogging a 5-mile area with sage.
It sure couldn't hurt. lol

Hi all,
Thought I'd introduce myself. I was born and raised in Corydon and
probably know a few of you. Hey, Frank! Is that you? Didn't know you
were an author! Congratulations!!
I've spent the past few years writing a children's series,
"Cynthia's Attic," and have 4 books published, so far. Not sure about a
5th, yet. The books are loosely based on family stories, ancestors and
growing up in Corydon playing in the attic of my real best friend,
Cynthia.
I've also co-written a women's humor book, "WOOF: Women Only Over
Fifty," along with several published short stories.
Marian, we got your message from Sue at the library. So sorry to
miss you! Would love to get together the next time I'm in town.
Looking forward to meeting everyone and finding out about all the
great writers in Southern Indiana!

On my blog, http://marianallen.wordpress.com, I posted a picture of the
costume I wore to a signing this weekend. Many people liked it, but
nobody knew what it was. If you think you know
what it is, post a comment. Anyone who guesses correctly
today--10-26-09--
(comments are dated) will have his or her name put into a drawing five
times. Tomorrow, I’ll post a detail of the costume and anyone who
guesses correctly on that day gets four chances. The next day, another
detail and correct guesses win three chances. Another day, another
detail. On October 31, a winner will be drawn from any correct guesses.
If there are no correct guesses, I’ll put all INCORRECT guesses into a
drawing. The winner gets a copy of DYING IN A
WINTER WONDERLAND, Wolfmont’s 2009 Toys For Tots
benefit anthology.
