Seasons greetings all,
I thought that this year I would combine some of my airplane photos into a
calendar. I took these at various air shows and while monitoring military
aircraft.

near dusk and they usually the callsign FAST......he might've come thru here

Indeed, off 32. He was pretty loud. It has to be FAST 51, it had the F-16
radio sound.

Hey Gang,

Now what I find even more interesting than the F-16s is the E6B. Not so much the
fact that they landed at March, but that they headed up towards Idaho Falls.
More than likely it was from the VQ-3 west coast det, buno 162782.

So how often do those E6Bs visit you folks at March? Do they occasionally head
for idaho Falls? Do they always use 4 letter calls? Inquiring minds back east
are real curious.

Thanks, 73 and good hunting,

Missed that one, but only saw the one NM ANG on the ramp. I think one or
both of the HYPER's were returning to Fresno about that time.

USAF Thunderbirds.

http://mt-milcom.blogspot.com/2009/12/usaf-thunderbirds-2010-official-show.html

Will be working on additional team schedules in the days to come. Thanks to

Drone aircraft will be used to nab illegal immigrants on California-Mexico
border

December 7, 2009 | 7:33 am

Predator drones, the unmanned aircraft used by the U.S. military in the Iraq and
Afghanistan war zones, will soon be employed to track illegal immigrants on the
Mexico-California border.

The drone, which will be unveiled later today, will be operated out of the
Antelope Valley by the military contractor General Atomics. The drones will fly
above the border region with advancing electronic tracking equipment looking for
illegal immigrants crossing into California.

According to the San Diego-based company, the drones will transmit information
to U.S. authorities on human smuggles as well drug smuggling.

Such drones are already used on the border of Texas and Arizona.

Border Patrol officials told SignOn San Diego that the drone would initially be
used to monitor ocean area, which has been used by human smugglers.

I uploaded the audio. Maybe some experts can ID the sound of the aircraft. I
dont think they were heavys.

KLAX they turned north and the atmosphere changed so the contrails died out but
they looked like they were heading up the coast toward SB. I turned the scanner

I took some pictures but you can't tell what they are because the sun was in the
frame.

So if it was shortly before 1PM'ish then they might be you aircraft.
