The SCHSG meets on the 3rd Saturday of each month
at 2:00 p.m. for approximately 2 hours
at the Pacific Asia Museum in Pasadena.

On August 30, 2009 the Southern California Haiku Study Group and the Pacific Asia Museum co-sponsored the Reading and Book Signing for the SCHSG 2008 anthology shell gathering.

Eighteen of the thirty-three poets featured in the anthology were present to read their haiku, to the beautiful strains of Rick Wilson playing modern and historical asian flutes accompanied by Kath Abela Wilson on a variety of percussion instruments.

The two photos at right were taken during the reading.
