I epoxy all my wing servos in but I do sand the case w/150 grit to get a bite on the case, I never use tape or heat shrink over the servo, just sand to a dull...

A Greening servoframe for the DS-168 with screws weighs 4 grams. That's about .14 oz. And I don't think there will be a substantive difference in glue weight...
