I have been busy lately, someone plowed into my dumpster truck and I am scrambling to find a replacement. Working with insurance companies that are trying to bleed me out by delaying the process. I have some great contracts that I am unable to perform since the truck was my only truck. Since i only put 12,000 miles a year on it. I have never needed a back up. And they rent for 6k a month.

Beth, our property has a lake, abundance of good clean drinking water and our house, office, and farm are totally off the grid. It is my desire to build a community on the property. So that many hands will make the work load lighter, in the coming difficult times we can provide all the food and ability to live on the land. We raise chickens, Berkshire pork, and have plenty of fish in the lake. ( I am going to be setting up a Tilapia farm, soon I hope) All these things are sellable, and can provide income. Finding folks that read off the same sheet of music is the hard part.
On the small house sites, I am developing them so that they can be centrally located for utility purposes, but they will have privacy.. the yards are about 50 x 50 and will be surrounded by willows.. we sell willows, and have some neat varieties.
Our house and office and wee apartment are totally PV powered. Within the next year I should have the micro hydro up and running.. (its a long road and expense).
