The primary purpose of this site is to provide builders of models of small combatants with a venue to share their experiences and information with other builders. This group was created and is moderated by professional ship modeler Al Ross who, besides building custom ship models and designing kits for various manufacturers, has authored and illustrated books and articles on small combatants and drawn detailed plans of these craft for decades.

This group IS NOT affiliated with any kit manufacturer. Any questions, concerns, praise, complaints, orders, assistance requests, or other business-related communications should be sent directly to the manufacturer of the kit in question.

If you are going to make a "factual" statement (...this was so...), please be ready to provide references to support your facts. There's a lot of incorrect information on small combatants floating around the web and we don't want to contribute to it.

The usual requirements for civility apply, as do those prohibitions for comments of a political, religious, or defamatory nature. Individuals choosing to ignore these simple requirements will discover that banishment from the group is only a mouse-click away... :-}.
