Description

Mission:
The mission of the SLV CERT program is to facilitate the delivery of quality CERT training programs within the San Lorenzo Valley through collaboration, communication, and cooperation of multiple groups and agencies.

Goals:
- "To provide the greatest good for the greatest number of people."
- To enable neighborhood teams, families, and individuals to prepare for and respond effectively to an emergency or disaster until professional responders arrive.
- To provide a link between neighborhood teams and professional responders.
- To offer a minimum of two trainings a year for up to 30 people.
- To offer a minimum of two continuing education and/or drills through-out the year.
- To improve the community's preparedness for emergency events by improving the credibility of neighbor to neighbor information.

 I wish I could be connected to SLVWD. I am on Big Basin water and it costs me twice as much as what I used to pay SLVWD when I lived in their district.
