>> post a link to your story and ask the community for feedback (although we ask you only do this once per story)
>> answer challenges (located under "Files")
>> receive updates from me (Jenina) about SKoW
>> complain about FictionPress, because everyone needs a place to vent
>> have friendly debates about writing, books, etc.
>> post suggestions on how to improve SKoW
>> and so much more

And here's stuff you can't do:

>> spam the boards
>> pick fights with each other
>> post spoilers for popular books
>> flame stories and people -- we prefer just critiquing them
>> use the phrase "shameless advertising" when you are advertising

There is a joining restriction, but it's so easy to join. Just leave me a short message (don't leave me blank messages!) to prove you're not a spammer and include the word "skow" or "fictionpress" in it. Whatever you do, don't just put "hi". We used to have a huge issue with those, so I just put a complete stop to it. You should be added to the group within the span of two days. (:

Just a tip: To get the most out of the Yahoo! Group forums, it would be best if you clicked the "(Group by Topic)" button so that you can see all that is going on instead of the most recent only.

P.S. We know that "Some Kind of Wonderful Romance Awards" is quite a mouthful. It's perfectly okay to refer to us as "SKoW awards" or just simply "skow". We do it, so you can do it too. And even if we didn't, you'd probably do it anyways.

So this is just to say that we don't mind if you shorten our name at all. (: (Although try to stay away from referring to us as "scow", as "kind" is not spelled with a "c".)
