Description
It's the Sixby Fire Yahoo Group!
Any LEGO Fire Department, or LEGO fire apparatus, or LEGO set discussion is welcome as long as it's fire related in some way. The occasional post about police or EMS creations is ok too. Posting about auctions or items for sale are allowed, but should be kept to a minimum. Profanity, even when it is edited out by the poster and replaced with other characters, is not allowed.
What about LEGO Fire Department incident posts? Incident posts are not allowed unless the post is brief and has a direct link to pictures of the incident near the top of the post. Do not link to all your albums this way in a post, just link to the album containing the incident pictures that is relevant to the post. If you are doing a brief incident post please put the description of the incident underneath the link to the pictures. Incident posts without pictures, and/or mutual aid discussion, and/or radio transcripts are not allowed on this group. This policy is effective as of February 2008 and is subject to change at any time.
Enjoy your stay!

Yea, not a LEGO photo. This incident took place a few miles away from me in the city of San Bruno, California. The natural gas explosion and fire on September 9th, 2010 killed 8 people, destroyed nearly 40 homes, and severely damaged many others. This photo was taken by me about 30 minues into the incident, the broken gas pipeline created a huge fireball and was two long blocks away from where I took this photo. Not seen are all the homes on fire, pretty much everything was on fire and you couldn't tell where one house fire began and another one ended.
