What makes the 1992 High School graduates of Southern Iloilo Polytechnic College in Miagao, Philippines distinct? Subtlety, hardwork and intelligence are three of the common virtues shared by the group. The unity and intimacy of the group are built on the blocks of friendship and confidence within an atmosphere characterized by openness and camaraderie. Long years have passed since members of the group have pursued divergent paths and careers right at the the portals of SIPC but the closeness never diminished. Through time, and through constant communication (by snail mails, emails, phone calls or text messages), the group's unity not only remained; in fact, it has developed into a deeper sense of kinship nurtured by trust and loyalty.

Batch 1992 is composed of nine sections of students namely Amethyst, Coral, Diamond, Emerald, Garnet, Jade, Pearl, Ruby and Sapphire. Plurality and diversity were never considered as hindrances but were viewed as necessary boons and challenges in maintaining harmony.

The hardwork and camaraderie of the group manifest in the fulfillment many of them feel as doctors, engineers, lawyers, teachers, seafarers, office workers, community volunteers, OFWs, and as parents. Annually, every December 30, the group gathers to update and renew their ties and friendship to keep the spirit of unity and oneness alive. Nothings sustains relationships better than constant communication and interaction.
