This is a group for Single Mothers to network and share ideas, thoughts and experiences with others who understand. I have been a single mom for 15 years and have been through so many life experiences along the way raising two children on my own. I find that the best way to deal with single motherhood is to network and share with other single moms. Feel free to post on our group any questions, thoughts, advice, ideas or experiences you may want to share. We are all in similar situations and can understand and feel compassion for each other.

We have a very active message board, chat forums each week on various topics (newly single, raising teenage daughters, raising toddlers, first time moms, pregnancy, etc.) support group meetings once monthly in the Queens, NY area in addition to a singlemomsny Family Dinner in the NYC area and a Moms Only Night Out On The Town every other month. Even though we host our group meetings in the NYC area, we welcome single moms from all over the world to join. We even have moms in our group from Australia, India and South Africa. So even if you do not live near NY, please do not let that stop you from joining our group and getting to know the other moms through our message board and online chats!
