Description

The single transferable vote method takes a free market approach to elections.
This group is for supporters of the single transferrable vote method and those who want to learn more about it.
It is also for those who might offer suggestions to fine tune the system. And for those who want to spread its use throughout the world.
It is a really simple system to use yet it provides the politicians with accurate statistics about the complex voting choices of the population. This allows them to better tailor their policys to the wants and needs of the people.
In the single transferable vote system most votes count towards the election of somebody. 3rd placed candidates (Ross Perot, Ralph Nader) are not spoiler candidates under the single transferable vote and that makes all the difference. More votes counting means more voters voting, more confidence in the system,
and stability.

To make it more inclusive, dissatisfied voters need to be able to register their dissatisfaction in a meaningful way. Currently, they can only spoil their vote
(Which is open to interpetation).
This group is moderated. Supporters of of other systems can join but proactive monitoring of postings will be carried out and many will be rejected. This is necessary.
