Description

This list is dedicated to the Wisconsin-born and longtime Minnesota science fiction author Clifford D. Simak (1904-1988). Known as the "pastoralist" of the genre, his prolific writing career spanned decades. His works have been translated into many languages.

A web-based discussion board, and precursor to the Yahoo group, was based on the Clifford Simak Fan Site: http://www.tc.umn.edu/~brams006/simak/. The site still houses many scans of the author's cover art, photos of his quasi-fictional Millville, (incomplete) bibliography and links to other resources.

Re: My SF reviews blog
I don't go by covers as much but do pick up a book based on the title. And then I tend to flip through it from the back to the front skimming for narrative
