Has anyone replaced their redwood fence with a contractor they would recommend?
My 11 year-old fence is beginning to wobble.
Thanks for any referrals.

Dear fellow Neighborhoods Commissioners - it is vitally important that community members become familiar with the very serious challenges facing the City and Agency budgets, and that our Neighborhood Groups become active in the discussion regarding priorities and options.
Please plan to attend upcoming budget workshops and meetings in the coming weeks so that you may be an informational resource in your District. Please also forward this message to all the Neighborhood Leaders and Groups in your District, and encourage others to attend and become involved.
Many thanks,

Mayor's RDA Budget Message Workshop
On Nov. 16, Mayor Chuck Reed will be hosting a workshop to discuss the Mayor's Redevelopment Agency Budget Message. The State of California has raided Redevelopment funds from cities across the state to balance its budget -- $75 million from San Jose alone.
Under San Jose 's budget process, the Redevelopment Agency staff releases a draft budget. The Mayor's Budget Message is the opportunity for the City Council to make changes to the Redevelopment Agency Budget.
Because of the serious challenges San Jose faces this year, Mayor Reed is holding this Redevelopment Agency Budget Workshop to hear from residents, businesses, nonprofits, and other stakeholders about ways to address this crisis. This is your opportunity to share your ideas and feedback with Mayor Reed as he is working on his budget message. Please join us on:
Monday, November 16, 2009 @ 6:00 pm
City Hall Wing Committee Rooms
200 E. Santa Clara St .
San Jose , CA 95113
The Mayor's Budget Message will be released on November 20th. Please RSVP to Cindy Escobar at 408-535-4824 or cindy.escobar@ sanjoseca. gov.
The cold weather is just around the corner and there are many people who have lost their homes due to the economic down turn. Something as simple as a used blanket may help save the lives of those who do not have adequate shelter or protection from the rapidly approaching cold weather.
Make a small contribution by donating a clean-used or new blanket this holiday season thru The Blanket Buddy Program that we have initiated in the bay area.
Hi All --
I've decided to seek election to the Board.
I've attached my answers to the questionnaire that you will soon receive
with your ballot. I'd appreciate you looking it over and if you are in
agreement with my points of view, a vote for me would go a long way
toward bringing about change to SCVCC.
Thank you in advance for your consideration. If you'd like to discuss
any matter at all, please give me a call at 408-499-8960.

We tried to follow him - the last we saw him was on Country Club circle running towards the new basketball courts. This is not our dog - we were trying to catch him - he is very skitterish - and will not come to people -
Not sure who he belongs to - presume it's someone living on Trowbridge -

Hi everyone:
Is there any place to take a toyota car for servicing that you recommend? I
used to take my prius at Toyota Sunnyvale, but last time after servicing there
was a strange noise going on that I did not have before.
I talked to the service representatives and even to the service manager and they
were not ready to take any responsibility for it.
Thanks in advance!
Irma
Sorry, I am not very familiar with the rules here.
I have a car to sell and I was wondering if it would be proper and allowed to
advertize it in the Silver Creek yahoo group.
Please, let me know.
Thank you.

The job type is "full time". Will they accept a contracting candidate?

I have a 2 1/2 year old...do you have anything ongoing for that age this summer?
I will be offering a Free Music Together class for infants to nearly 5 years on June 16th at 6:30pm at Grace Church (not affiliated) across from the Evergreen Library. Please feel free to come, bring your friends & join me. It is interactive with dance and musical instruments that both parents and kids tend to enjoy.
Also, I am teaming up with Vivian Hobbs from Pinecone Active Learning this summer for an additional 6 week mini-music course for 5-11 year olds. It will feature two different class types: 1-Introductory Group Piano Lessons (5 student max) 2-Music Fundamentals and Rhythmic Dance (10 student max - fun for K & 1st graders)
It will go from June 22-July 27, Mondays, Wednesday & Fridays.
My assistant should have the information
on my website within a couple days. Let me know if you are interested.
