GUIDELINES
The following list are items that are considered inappropriate for the email lists. We appreciate your always being polite and respectful of each other and these rules so that this forum can continue to be made available.
*No personal attacks or anything else that could cause offense to somebody else.* Keep the posts positive. For example, instead of words like ‘disapointed with’, use 'I have an idea to improve...communication' or whatever.
No Flame bait. In other words: inflammatory messages posted with an intent to provoke emotional responses.
It would be helpful to try and keep posts short and concise.
Please don't send personal msgs/thank you's to this forum as it bogs down everyones mail box.
This list is NOT to be used to address problems or concerns with the teachers, the administration staff or other parents. Any issues should be taken up directly with the person(s) involved.
No Inappropriate language or personal attacks.
Do Not make unsolicited offers or use this list to advertise.
DO NOT post IN ALL UPPER CASE. IT IS LIKE YELLING. Underline words for emphasis or add a color instead.
Do not take it upon yourself to point out where other members do not follow guidelines. Use the "Hey Mod" button found on the Shu Ren website on the e-community page.
Use descriptive subject lines. This will allow members and guests to determine if the subject of you post is something they want to read or discuss.
No copyrighted articles. If you want to post an article it must be quoted and the source cited. Do not copy and paste any article into your posting.
