Hi Chammy (and Teal and Anyone),
I realize it may be a while before you log back onto the web and read
this but I want to report that I did go out sky-hunting through the
northeast for Leonid meteors during my pre-dawn shamanizing today. I
hope (and Teal and any fool out there looking up) caught one or a few
to several fiery Lion Sparks!
I glimpsed a quick, little light streak just before I looked down to
begin heading back. I mean I was about to give up and return to Astor
and Knapp anyway when I caught sight of that short, briefest, flash.
Then I did stay and wait for another 5 minutes or so before giving up
again and turning towards home. For by then daylight was glowing
bright enough to flood out meteors even though it wasn't the crack of
dawn yet.
The Tortoise Cat slept through it all, curled into a snoring furry
ball, soft and snug on a prayer rug, her nose just under the radiator.
She might have been 'dreaming summer'.
Many Blessings In Spirited FUN,
~ Elizabeth
