Ha ha...
I was outside this morning during pre-dawn for shamanizing purposes
and did spend a little while foolishly looking up. There were many
breaks in the cloud cover then. But I did not spot any Leonid
meteors.
I was not positioned for gazing at the sky near the horizon. Maybe I
will trek over to the Lake Bluff tomorrow, if the skies are clear at
all. (You know the place a few blocks from here where I usually go.)
Due to the way business is going lately I am about to begin (again)
getting my exercise walks - besides the neighborhood strolls
with 'The Tortoise Cat' - during the pre-pre-dawn hours and around
sunset. Anyway even this year many enthusiasts (and fools too I'm
sure) are out there gazing and peering up despite the conditions.
