Welcome to the Settlers of Catan by Email Club! Now it is possible to play this game by email, both base game and Cities and Knights!

Playing Settlers by email allows you to play the game any time a day, with your own friends, without the need to be online all te time. You just make a move when you check your email.

How does it work? Every player holds a personalized programme (settlers.exe) on his or her hard disk. The game actions are stored in a small database (settlers.db). The players send this database to each other as an email attachment. The programme takes care of all the game functions. It creates a random tile pattern on Catan Island at the beginning, and provides the player with buttons to throw the dice, build settlements, buy development cards, and so on. Do you want to play? The only thing we ask is a one-time settlers-by-email-club registration fee. For European, UK, US and Australian residents it is possible to pay in local currency (five euro, four UK pounds, six US dollars, eight Australian dollars) by sending a check to a local agent.
