In a place beyond far
In the time before old
When not the first star
Yet blazed in the cold,
All that we were meant to be
Lay draped in dark infinity.
There amidst the frozen space
With little but our own embrace,
Swirling, trembling want for warmth
Curled in embryonic forms
And same we did as we will again,
Became what is from what has been.
We arose from primordial light.
We were those that adorned the night,
Brought together though not by chance
And thrown into a cosmic dance
To constantly circle but never touch,
Eternally caught in each others' clutch.
I have loved You since the stars were born.
I shall love You 'til they are no more.
