Here at the Sensuous Storytellers Society, we celebrate sensual self-expression in the form of erotic poetry and short stories. We want members to feel free to give voice to what they find sensually compelling, be it a nectarine, a massage, or an evening of passion.

Sensuous Storytellers give voice to the sensual immediacy of life. They weave sensuality, eroticism, and passion into their stories, delighting their audience with evocative imagery and sensations. Yet, for all that we express emotions and sensations that everyone experiences and many are eager to read about, writers of erotic prose and poetry are the red-headed step-children of the literary community... most writers groups specify that they don't want "erotic content" anywhere near their forums.

This group has been created as a project to bring together adult writers (and readers!) of erotic/sensual works for support, feedback, and exchange. I've been writing and recording erotic stories and poems for a couple of years now, and when I went searching for a community that provided support and information for writers of sensual material, I found little met my needs or interests.

It is my hope and intention to create a space where we can encourage each other in our sensual self-expression. While I certainly welcome those who are writers by trade, I also wish to see those closet writers sharing their work and expressing themselves.

Lastly, some of us write for ourselves, but mostly we write for an audience. So we need people to tell our stories to, and hopefully, they will join us here. Thus, this community is open those adults who read as well as write erotica.
