List Guidelines
These guidelines have been implemented to bring you clear, easy-to-read messages without unwanted clutter. All posts are approved or rejected by a moderator based on these criteria.
1. New Subscribers. We welcome both newbies and veterans. If you are new to publishing, please take time to acquaint yourself with the industry before posting to avoid questions like, "How do I get started?" Or, "I've written a book. Now what?"
2. Advertising. This forum is for discussion, not sales pitches. If you have a product or service to sell, include it in your signature block. Please limit this block to six lines.
3. Responding. When replying to a message, don't include a full copy of the original post. Instead, snip just a sentence or two for context and clearly distinguish between the original post and your reply. Also, use an appropriate subject line. If the subject changes, your subject line should change. When replying to a digest, change the subject line from "Re: Digest #1" to something more relevant.
4. HTML and Attachments. For virus and spam protection, email attachments are not allowed and HTML messages will be converted to text by the system.
