We are a loose knit group of Amateur Radio enthusiast who live in the San Diego, CA area and operate primarily on the 6 Meter band. The core group of founders are based primarily in the East County area of San Diego but we want to encourage everyone in the San Diego area to join in and are working towards a goal of developing a more structured organization with goals of possibly building and placing into operation several linked repeaters in the surrounding areas. We encourage new and seasoned operators to use 6 meters. It is a fun band and offers the tech class user a good taste of DX and the more seasoned veteran a chance to work for a DX award on a band that is more challenging than most HF bands.
