The sd-callers mailing list is for discussion of square dance calling

at all levels. The list is primarily for callers, although dancers are

welcome to read the list, and reply when it is appropriate, but off-

topic discussions (the problems of single/gay/older American/European/etc

dancers - as opposed to how to call for them, the dress code, etc) are

not appreciated.



This is not a general square dancing discussion (for that, subscribe

to squaredancing@lunar.eclipse.net), or lesbian/gay square dancing

(subscribe to lgcwsd@dmshome.org).



Please make sure that you're sending your post to the right mailing

list, as the list host supports multiple lists. In addition, please

don't cross-post articles between sd-callers and square-dancing, or

sd-callers and lgcwsd, without a good reason for doing so. Non-

square-dance posts are generally not appreciated, although it is

certainly reasonable to inquire about a caller's well-being (for

example). Use your judgement.

Anything sent to sd-callers@dmshome.org will be distributed immediately.

There is no moderator. If the traffic gets to be too much to handle,

take a week off and come back, it's easy to add and remove yourself

as needed (send mail to majordomo@dmshome.org, in the body put "help"

to get a list of commands).



If you have problems with consistent mail bounces, you may be dropped

from the list. Simply re-subscribe when your mail is working again.
