The Empress Tsu Hsi and her Court

Edinburgh branch member Jennifer Scarce will give a talk about the Empress
Dowager Cixi (aka Tsu Hsi) illustrated with slides, taking us back to 19th
Cenutry Peking and offering a glimpse of a life of intrigue, imperial glamour
and lavish costume in the Forbidden City.
