Description
Nashoba School Bus Safety Group discusses issues pertaining to school bus safety and support of seat belts on school buses in the Nashoba Regional School District (NRSD), (member towns are Bolton, Lancaster and Stow, Massachusetts.)
The primary goal of this group is to encourage the NRSD to promote seat belt usage in the same way that all other safety issues are promoted, but even more so because motor vehicle accidents are the leading cause of teen and young adult deaths - one-half of which were due to not wearing a seat belt.
Life-long habits and attitudes are primarily formed through early education. Therefore, it is reasonable to expect schools to promote seat belt education as much and as soon as possible. Having belts on the buses is a great opportunity that should not be missed! Please join this group in the fight to keep kids buckled up. Become a member of the Nashoba School Bus Safety Group and support our goal.
The group posts information, calendar items and notices of educational opportunities for children, and discusses strategies and ideas. Discussion is limited, and the group does not allow any off-topic business solicitation, spam, personal attacks or off-topic posts.
