Santa Cruz Future Salon (at UCSC)

We discuss emerging technologies shaping the future of the world. This includes the effects of accelerating change and the convergence of cybernetics, artificial intelligence, nanotechnology, biotechnology and their implications for society. We explore the ethical use of technology to expand human capabilities and the merging of biological and non-biological intelligence. Free and open to the public.
