The Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators (SCBWI) is an association of both published and unpublished writers and illustrators, and also includes as its members people who are agents, editors, and publishers, as well as any others who are interested or involved in the writing and illustrating of children's literature.

We have critique meetings, workshops, and events/conferences happening in Vancouver. We also have meetings and events happening in Calgary. All these are open to BOTH non-members and members.
