Members of this UK group discuss the practice of 'Tatting' or 'Dumpster Diving' for food, household items, electronics, computers, bicycles and the other precious detritus of our profligate society.

The emphasis of the group is not really on acquiring material things, but on living in a sustainable manner and preventing waste. To this end, members can network and share 'tatting' tips, locations, notifications of items seen and basically benefit from some of the waste of our society whilst reducing their own eco-footprint and preventing valuable items being landfilled.
