Description

NEW meeting times are 11A to 430P (until further notice) with an informal break for lunch.

Meetings for dates of:
February 25, March 24, May 12, June 9, July 7, August 11, September 8, October 6, Nov. 10, and Dec. 8
will be at: SUNTREE/VIERA PUBLIC LIBRARY/meeting rm.

This is THE polymer clay guild for the Space Coast (Brevard) surrounding counties.

You do not need to be a member of this guild to attend claydays/meetings, BUT, membership is free and allows you spam free access to a LARGE collection of links, a photo album of your own upon approval, updates info on happenings in the polymer clay world.

Membership requests are screened to avoid spammers, will be approved pending receipt of pre-membership interview/questionnaire.

If you're new to polymer clay, come explore your creativity at your own pace in an encouraging and positive community. This is not a class. It would be helpful if you are familiar with the basics of polymer clay, found in the beginning of most tutorial polymer clay books.
What you create is up to YOU, whether it be jewelry, sculpture, decor, or functional pieces 8)

What you'll need to bring:
~A work surface-(aluminum cookie sheet, glass from a picture frame or a mirror at least 8x10 inch size or any smooth FLAT hard surface)
~pasta machine (such as a Marcato Atlas Wellness stainless steel pasta machine).
~flexible cutting blades (polymer clay aisle in Michaels/Jo Ann's/Hobby Lobby so on)
~Clay: Brand of your choice,
~Old, flat bed sheet or small tarp for covering the floor under your claying area (to protect the carpet) per library request.
