NARAM-51 Tips Pages Draft - scale content   Message List

I have posted this to ContestRoc, but am also posting it here due to the
Scale Tips Page.

------------------

I have uploaded the draft version of the NARAM-51 Tips pages, at this link:

http://tinyurl.com/mkywor

A few pages are "new", like the Random Altitude Page. And the 1/2A PD page
which is mostly new content though it was built around a copy of a Streamer
Duration page.

The B Altitude Page is based on a copy of an old C Payload Tips page. I am
not too happy with the lack of a "real" B Altitude plan, and nobody has any
kits that are directly for B Altitude. So, I ended up suggesting converting
18mm Streamer plans or kits.

Some other pages are copies of previous pages, with the content modified to
reflect a different engine class and therefore some different plans/kits.
Such as 1/8A Copter from B Copter last year, and D Dual Egg Duration,
modified from B singe Eggloft Duration. And A Streamer, revised to 13mm models,
from B Streamer which listed 18mm models

Some pages just needed some tweaks, like B R/G (from NARAM-46), and R&D.

For Sport Scale, one page for the two events. The differences and criteria
for Peanut and SF/F scale are covered near the top, otherwise most of the
rest of the content mostly goes back to how it was written for NARAM-46.
Since there is sometimes confusion about the size requirements for Peanut, I
made up a drawing to show "either/or" examples, as well as a little
publicized ruling from years ago on whether non-scale fins are measured for
length.
Having made that drawing for Peanut, and presenting both Peanut and SF/F side
by side, the page needed some "balance". So, I photoshopped some fun
artwork for the SF/F side to give an idea of what the event is about.

If someone has any suggestions for any other plans or suitable kits, or
significant tips, please let me know. If there are any errors, also please let
me know that.
