Description

If you can't get enough about miniature railroads, this group is for you!

Our goal is to profile and discuss fascinating scale riding railroads that occupy backyards and acreage worldwide.   We'll create a database of hundreds of railroads . . . some known . . . others discovered!   Railroad statistics, photos, videos, articles and more will be documented.

We need your help finding more private railroads.   Any gauge pike is fine as long as it can be ridden.   Email us names, OR visit the RR yourself.    Help even more by providing profile information, pictures, videos OR perhaps author an article.   See How You Can Help below.

Send railroad names, videos, pics, info, etc. to us at scalerridingrr@yahoo.com.

View our database of Railroad Profiles in "Files" at left or use the Quick-Links below . . .

ADDED -- Goleta Valley Western Raiload
A fine historical railroad in 7.5" and 15" gauge. You have to see the "white knuckle" trestle. Go to . . . http://tinyurl.com/lutgt9 Dave

Re: Guest Operators?
Hey Steve: You are welcome to visit, but getting a loco back to my layout is a real chore. Why not just ride mine? It is a Real Trains also. Dave

Re: Infrared Signals
Don: Sorry about the delay in responding. ALL the parts for the signal are available at Lowes or Home Depot (except the signal lamps). I used 1.25"
