Hello everyone,
I am in need of a medieval coin, one where the provenance is known. I
work a science research facility (synchrotron) and have the opportunity
to do an experiment to test the differences between coins that are
authentically medieval, ones done in a medieval way (which I have –
thanks Schmett :) and the known fakes that tend to be sold in museums
(which I also have) – for Discovery Channel. The coin will not be
damaged and will returned to you. Here's the catch – we would like to
test the experiment before the film crew gets here and they are coming
on July 30th – so I'm hoping to find a coin asap – I will be in Calgary
Sun-Tues this week and can pick it up.
If you are interested in lending your coin (or asking any other
questions) let me know...
