Are you a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism -AND- a crocheter? Yes, yes, we've heard that crochet is not period. This is not the list to naysay crocheted handcrafts, though. Sometimes a crocheted snood or bag is just the thing to whip up a few days before an event, or perhaps trying to negotiate two or more needles is just more than you can fathom, and besides, it's all about the "reasonable attempt."
