AA E-Zine is an online newsletter that began at Stony Brook University as SBU AA E-Zine in 2002 with an emphasis on events and info for Asian / Asian American students, faculty, staff, and the local campus community. It has subdivided and now covers the metro NY/LI area because students become alumni, marry non-SBU students, sometimes non-Asians, and have family and friends who went to other academic institutions. So while SBU is the parental home, SBU AA E-Zine is geared to news and events for undergraduates at http://www.aa2sbu.org/aaezine. AA E-Zine at http://www.aaezine.org is geared to alumni, grad students, faculty and staff; covers events in the metro NY/LI area; and covers local, state and national news. http://www.aasquared.org is the website of [AA]2 : Asians, Americans, and Asian Americans, the legal 501(c)3 non-profit organization AA E-Zine is a part of.
