About SBQA

Welcome to South Bay Queer Asian (sbQA)! sbQA is San Jose's premiere support/social organization for gay, bisexual, lesbian and transgender Asians and Pacific Islanders in the South Bay! With a safe place to "come out of the closet" and feel comfortable with their sexual identity and race. Our rap sessions serve as a forum where individuals can freely discuss issues relevant to being gay/bisexual/lesbian/transgender and Asian in a relaxed and friendly environment! sbQA's social events give members opportunities to meet others of similar backgrounds and interests and to make lasting friendships. Our group also supports the development of its members' organizational leadership skills.
