Star Base Andromeda is a Lincoln, Nebraska-based general science fiction, fantasy, horror and action-adventure fan club. We are the longest-continually-running SF club in the state of Nebraska, having started originally on February 7, 1974 as "Star Base Andromeda - The City-Wide Star Trek Club." Over the intervening 36 years, we've expanded to encompass nearly every type of SF and Fantasy fannish interest -- tv, movies, literature, comics, gaming, etc. -- that is out there.

The "sbalist" is our e-mail list, which began life as a private listserv back in the 1990s. Due to several temporary outages of that list, we've chosen to migrate our mailing list into this Yahoo!Group for the sake of stability and for the archiving options that a Yahoo!Group provides. Membership, viewing and posting privileges to the sbalist are open only to paid members, alumni or specially invited associates of Star Base Andromeda.
