Time: a bit earlier

Fleet Admiral Tergin sat with Cmdr. Be'Torra, his head of
Starfleet Security, and Admiral Misha Piper, his Fleet Executive
Officer around the table on one side of his office. Their meeting was
that of the secret kind. Things were starting to move fast and the
El-Aurian was afraid his meticulous calculations could be off.
Perhaps he should consult with the Mysitc of the HORIZON...

"...so it's agreed then..." Tergin said, sighing slightly.

...They would be calling on a Black Ops officer. One of their best.
He was known to most who'd come through the Fleet Academy Program, as
Lt. Cmdr. Seoul Geo. He was an allasamorph, though this knowledge was
classified, not the human he appeared as an instructor on DESTINY.
Tergin knew him as Geo Xantho, former Starfleet Security Operative and
son of former Cocoon Fleet Antelope Squadron Commander Commodore
Xantho.

"The orders have already been written," Be'Torra said. The woman
had served Starfleet Security in the Cocoon for most of her ten year
career.

Tergin took the padd, and sighed again as he pressed his thumbprint
signature, and with that, Lt.Cmdr. Seoul Geo, aka Geo Xantho, would be
transferred back to the command of Starfleet Security. He already had
a replacement for the DESTINY on route from Earth.

Hall sat straight up in a chair waiting to be called inside with the
Admiral. He felt it as an honour, he had not expected a so highly
ranked officer would take care of the arrival of an instructor. The
Yeoman of the Admiral maybe, or more likely the PO of the Starbase.
Anyway, Hall hoped Tergin would be easy on him. Most Admirals had not
much of a feeling for Officers who had cracked down and spend some
time under guidance...

"Commander Hall?" One of the assistance at the desk looked around.
"That would be me." Said Hall as he stood up.

"The Admiral will now see you, Sir." He was waved to the door and
nervously knocked...

"Come," Admiral Tergin said from behind his desk. He smiled his
signature smile. "Come in," the El-Aurian motioned the man to cross
the large room and approach his desk.

"Lt.Cmdr. Hall reporting sir," the Human man said in the formal fashion.

"Welcome to the Cocoon Commander, please have a seat," the El-Aurian
said. The man's record showed he was a fine candidate to fill the
position of First Officer on the Cocoon Fleet Training Vessel, he was
a decorated command officer, but he also wanted to get a feel for the
man who would be preparing cadets to lead starship departments in the
frontier of the Cocoon. It would not take his Listener senses long to
asses him. "I'm sure you're excited to get to your new assignment.
You are being assigned as First Officer and Instructor of the USS
DESTINY, the Cocoon Fleet's Training vessel."

"A training vessel?" Gareth wasn't sure how to feel about that.

"It is state of the art, lined with holo emitters on every deck, and
can run almost any simulation thought up by a humanoid mind. It
trains cadets that qualify through one of starfleet's rigorous command
exams, and are trained to fill a vital need for command officers in
our fleet..."

"And when do the cadets come sir?" Hall asked.

"That depends on Starfleet Command. We are at the will of the
Personnel bureaucracy on Earth. When you are not training cadets the
DESTINY is assigned to patrol duty of the OMEGA perimeter." The Fleet
Admiral liked the man. "You should report immediately, the former FO
and acting CTO has already been reassigned. You should find the ship
in stations orbit, under the command of Lt.<jg> Tyn. The new CTO
should be assigned shortly, I'm just waiting for her approval from
Starfleet Command, until then you have the ship."

"Thank you sir," Hall said.

Tergin rose and extended his hand in honor of the human tradition.
"Good luck Lt. Commander."

NRPG:
Sorry that took SO long.
