The Historic Cass Tech Preservation Society is working to find a new use for the historic Cass Tech Building. This spring we announced an Request for Proposals for Historic Cass Tech, available at www.casstechhistoric.org

We strive to find a creative and workable solution for historic Cass Tech using a model such as Artspace Projects, Inc. (www.artspaceprojects.org) and other adaptive rehabilitations across the country to complement the new Cass Tech High School, recently opened across the street.

We envision a multi-use community with unique live/work, commercial, cultural, and retail spaces that include a wide variety of amenities and serves as a beacon for a vibrant Cass Corridor.

Such a project could include space for artistic, residential, commercial, and community use.
