| Notes: | Just another friendly gathering to explore any issues of common interest/concern. Roger will report on meeting with the artist John Cox. Rich will discuss his talk about "Fahrenheit 451". If a majority insists, we will read and ponder the first half of the May 15, 1934 entry from Ayn Rand’s private philosophic journal -- an excerpt from her earliest thinking in which she wrote down some of her ideas about the general meaning of “free will”, the formation of concepts, and systems of ethics. This will be the third in our series of the provisional and personal excerpts from Rand’s private journals. Copies will be provided and as usual, personal discussion, drinking and camaraderie will precede the reading.
