Welcome to the New SAS Audio Labs Forum. SAS Audio Labs Forum is dedicated to our products and to enhancing ones audio reproduction via the exchange of information, reviews, tweeks, and asking questions. Or simply hang out. We are family here, so bring a friend.
I hope you will pop open your favorite beverage, relax and enjoy the information presented. I think you will find a refreshing difference from the typical chaotic forums. I will present information from time to time as well.
Almost all the information I present is either from professional printed matter, or actual multi method listening/auditioning experimentation.
"Rule of thumb" and "voicing" are just not as stringent as multi-method listening tests, thus miss specific problems that multi-method testing reveals. So the information presented by me is as close to fact as possible, not simply heresay or misinformation.
Audition and reviews of speakers, CD players, and accessories such as line cords, power conditioners, ICs, and tweeks etc are most welcome. Ones own experimentation and results are encouraged.
Feel free to post products for sale. Feel free to ask questions.
Unethical behaviour such as cursing, shilling, hidden agendas are not allowed. This forum is a DBT (double blind test) and ABX post free zone, thus Not allowed. I am the final determinator, and such will be deleted.
I hope members will build new friendships, and enjoy their stay here.
Thanks for joining the SAS Audio Labs Forum.
(ps. The preamplifier pictured above is the 11A reference Line Preamplifier. Martin DeWulf, publisher of Bound for Sound has purchased one as a reference preamplifier. Reviewer Richard Weiner of BFS has an 11A as his reference. For more information check out http://www.sasaudiolabs.com/pream11a.htm .
