The Saratoga Sport and Social Club is a place for adventure minded, outdoor enthusiasts to gather and socialize, network with area clubs and businesses and hook up for adventures with new friends.

We sponsor social mixers each month usually at the City Tavern (19-21 Caroline Street) in downtown Saratoga Springs, New York (except during track season). Details concerning our upcoming mixers are always posted on the Message Board.

You do not have to be a member to attend our mixers - they are open to all who share our passion for hiking, camping, mountain biking, kayaking, climbing, snowboarding, alpine skiing, cross country, snowshoeing, nature photography and making new friends.

Feel free to use this message board to post invitations to adventures, happy hours, concerts and other events, share tech tips and beta and find new friends.

The only rules are that everyone is expected to exercise common courtesy and good manners, and all invitations should be open to everyone. Members should feel free to use the message board to ask for directions, trip difficulty, trip length and required gear and decide for themselves if they are honestly up to participating. A liability waiver form is contained in the "Files" area. If you use the Club or this message board to extend an invitation to any kind of expedition, you agree to have all participants sign it. Likewise, if you are joining in any expedition advertised here, you agree to be bound by the the terms of the liability waiver and hold the Club (and it's principals and agents) harmless in the event you should get hurt.

If you have some gear to sell, you may post a message, but off-topic or excessive commercial ads are not permitted.
